Report: Spurs enter early talks over Nicolas Gonzalez
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the teams to have entered into very early talks over a potential summer move for Nicolas Gonzalez, .
Spurs continue to make progress under Jose Mourinho. They remain in four competitions this season, with a Carabao Cup final coming up in April.

It will be interesting therefore, to see whether they plan to add to their squad this month. It does appear that they currently have one eye on the summer window.
, they are one of the clubs to have registered an interest in Gonzalez. It is suggested that very early discussions have been held.

The 22-year-old is also attracting attention from Juventus after an impressive start to the season with Stuttgart.
He has scored five goals in 10 Bundesliga games. His record is all the more impressive given that he has started just six of those fixtures. He has also provided two assists.
The Athletic notes that Gonzalez’s contract does not include a release clause. But it is suggested that Stuttgart would be looking for a fee of around £27.1 million (€30 million) before letting him go.
Gonzalez scored a penalty and provided a delicious assist in Stuttgart’s 4-1 win over Augsburg at the weekend.
And his ability to play in a couple of positions in the forward line may well appeal to Mourinho. He can lead the line, but he is also influential when he drifts out wide or drops deeper and runs at defenders.
Based on his current form, a summer move looks somewhat inevitable. And Tottenham have reportedly put themselves in the mix.
