The 26-year-old centre-back hasn’t had the luckiest of seasons – he has struggled for game time this season amid injuries and loss of form, making just in all competitions.

While Umtiti is a world-class player, his recurring knee injury has been a major problem, and while there were hopes he could show what he’s capable of, playing just 107 minutes of football after the restart and missing the last five games due to injury is concerning.
According to , Umtiti is valued at 30million Euros (£27million) and, when fit, he would no doubt be a top addition for either Mikel Arteta or Jose Mourinho – but they need to do their due diligence and ensure that they can get a reasonable amount of game time from him.
