Report: Sporting set to decline option to purchase Everton’s Yannick Bolasie
Sporting CP will reportedly decline the opportunity to sign Yannick Bolasie permanently from Everton.
The DR Congo international is with the Portuguese outfit for the season, but it would appear his performances haven’t been enough to encourage them to trigger their option-to-buy.
Apparently, that clause is set at €4.5 million/£3.8 million, .

In 24 games for the Europa League side, Bolasie has contributed just two goals and five assists.
Arguably, this is Bolasie’s last shot to prove to Everton that he is worth retaining for the 2020/21 season.
Before heading to Portugal, Bolasie had uninspiring loan spells with Aston Villa and Anderlecht for whom he scored a combined eight goals in 38 appearances.
The player has been hoping for a career renaissance following the ACL injury he suffered shortly after joining Everton for a reported £25 million in 2016 ().
TBR’s view – Everton must find buyer
Reports of Sporting’s decision may serve as a frustration for Everton.

Carlo Ancelotti is probably unlikely to want a 30-year-old Bolasie off the back of three poor loan spells, and so it could be that Everton will have to endeavor to find a buyer this summer.
That could be particularly tricky given the player’s £75,000-a-week wages ().
One thing is for certain, the Toffees will get nowhere near the £25 million they paid to sign him.
