Report: ‘Spectacular’ player wants to live in London, after reports Tottenham are battling to sign him
Brentford playmaker Christian Eriksen wants to stay in London amid interest from his former club Tottenham.
The report that Spurs could well have a big advantage over Manchester United in the battle for Eriksen’s signature this summer.
United have offered him a deal, while Spurs seem to be pressing ahead with deals for Yves Bissouma and Djed Spence at present.
That said, Erik ten Hag has been trying to get his former Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong into Old Trafford, which indicates that Eriksen is not about to move anywhere imminently.

Eriksen wants to stay in London
Eriksen of course lived in London when he was a Spurs player and came back to the capital when he made his return to football with Brentford.
Staying in London, where his family are settled, appeals to Eriksen and of course Spurs could offer Champions League football too.
The report says it is not yet clear how advanced or serious United’s interest is, or whether he is an alternative or accompaniment to de Jong.
It has been reported this week that Tottenham are quietly confident of landing Eriksen, despite the interest from United.

Gary Neville called Eriksen’s return to the Premier League ‘spectacular‘ and it was one of the stories of the season.
Now, it seems that he is seen as a viable option for top level clubs once again, and he is available on a free transfer if he does not extend his short-term Brentford deal.
It remains to be seen if Tottenham will hammer home their advantage, but they are getting business done this summer, and that should excite the fans.
