Report: Slaven Bilic and West Brom want to sign West Ham attacker

that West Bromwich Albion and former Hammers manager Slaven Bilic are interested in signing West Ham United attacker Grady Diangana on loan.

Diangana, 21, broke into the West Ham side under Manuel Pellegrini and has since clocked up 21 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers. He has even earned three England Under-20 caps.

However, the return of Andriy Yarmolenko – along with the presence of wingers Felipe Anderson, Michail Antonio, Robert Snodgrass and perhaps Manuel Lanzini, Diangana has little chance of breaking into the side.

West Brom have made an enquiry over Diangana’s availability, as Bilic looks to use his contacts to lure Diangana to The Hawthorns. West Ham are willing to loan him for a fee, something which the Baggies have accepted.

TBR’s view – Diangana to West Brom suits West Ham

It is a move that benefits all parties involved. Diangana needs first-team football on a regular basis to further his development, but the pecking order is long at West Ham. A move to West Brom is perfect.

Still a very good standard, Diangana will be expected to score and create in a side pushing for promotion under Bilic. It will benefit the Hammers as they will get a player back next summer with more experience under his belt.

For West Brom, they will be receiving a player that could make the difference. Pace, goals, skill and assists are all part of Diangana’s game, and he has the ability to excite Baggies fans. He could push West Brom into the top six.
