Report: Sheffield Wednesday close to signing Cardiff’s Kadeem Harris
According to the , Sheffield Wednesday are closing in on securing a deal to sign Cardiff City attacker Kadeem Harris.
The 26-year-old winger’s current contract with the Bluebirds is due to expire at the end of June. At that point, Harris will be available for the Owls to sign on a free transfer. Harris certainly represents a cost-effective way for Steve Bruce to bolster his squad ahead of the new Championship campaign.

Bruce’s side ended last season in fine form, but improvements will be needed this summer if they’re to kick on. They need to bring in proven talents who can help them push for promotion.
Harris may have struggled to have an impact in the top flight last season, but he has impressed in the Championship before.
The Owls aren’t blessed with an abundance of options on the flanks, so could do with reinforcements in that part of the pitch. Harris could also get his career back on track at Hillsborough. It would seem, then, that this is a deal that suits all parties. Considering that he is available for free too, the Owls would be foolish not to take a punt on Harris.
