Report shares Zidane’s reaction to Spurs loanee Gareth Bale’s comments

Gareth Bale may be in for a nasty surprise if he is indeed hoping to return to the Real Madrid fold this summer, how Zinedine Zidane reacted to the Tottenham Hotspur loanee’s comments on his future.

Bale has had an interesting time back in North London. It certainly took the Welshman some time to get🐟 going. But in more recent times, he has looked a lot more like his old self.

Since the turn of the year, he has scored seven goals in all co🦹mpetitions. His form raised the question about whether Tottenham would look to extend his stay.

However, Bale seemed to play do🌞wn the likelihood of staying beyond this season this week. The 31-year-old suggested that his plan remains to return to the Spanish capital.

“The 🐬original plan was to do a season at Spurs and after the Euros still have a year left at Real Madrid,” he s𝐆aid, . “My plan is to go back, that’s as꧙ f🌜ar I have planned.”

It does not appear however, that those at Real are not quite as e♌xcited about Bale’s return. , Zidane has insisted that he still does not want the attacker in his squad next season.

In factꦛ, it is claimed that Los Blancos willꦓ listen to any offer that comes in for Bale.

TBR View: Spurs must resist temptation to make move

There does look to be an opportunity for a club to sign Bale for ꧒next to nothing this summer. But given what his wage🐲 demands are likely to be, it could be argued that Spurs should steer clear.

Bale has been excellent at times in recent weeks. But it is surely fair to say that he is yet to make a major impact on the bigg🌜er stages Spurs find themselves on.

That may come bef𒉰ore the end of the season with Jose Mourinho’s men battling to make the top four. But as things stand, Spurs may be better off investing more of the꧅ir funds on other targets.
