Report shares West Ham’s Winston Reid stance amid MLS interest
West Ham United are open to offers for Winston Reid, with two clubs in Major League Soccer keen on the New Zealand international, .
The 31-year-old has been a fantastic servant for the Hammers. He is a few months away from spending a decade with the Irons.

However, he has endured a torrid time with injury over the last couple of years.
Reid has not made a competitive appearance for the Hammers’ first-team since March 2018.

The Daily Mail reports that he is now closing in on being ready for a return. But it appears that it is a possibility that he may move on before he makes his first appearance in almost two years.
, both Sporting Kansas City and Nashville SC want the defender. And it is suggested that the Irons are open to offers.
TBR View – West Ham don’t need to rush Reid decision
West Ham may currently be open to letting Reid leave the London Stadium. But they do not need to rush their decision either.
The Mail reports that the transfer window in America is open from mid-February until early May.
Of course, the Hammers may have their own plans for January that Reid’s departure may help fund. But after almost two years out, it seems unlikely that he would command a significant transfer fee.
Therefore, the Irons should perhaps see how Reid gets on upon his return. If he is capable of rediscovering his previous form, he could be a major asset for David Moyes’s side.
They may be concerned about relying on him too much in case he suffers another injury. And, with the Mail reporting that his contract does not expire until 2023, they may be wary of missing the chance to move him on if his best days are behind him.
But Reid has been a brilliant player for West Ham for a long time. So perhaps the club should take a gamble and snub any interest until he has had a chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
