The 22-year-old scored eight goals and provided six assists as Slaven Bilic’s side clinched automatic-promotion. Unsurprisingly, it appeared that he had a number of admirers this summer.

that Celtic, Ajax and the Baggies all wanted to sign Diangana permanently, and West Ham may be tempted to sell for between £15 million and £20 million.

Meanwhile, that Rangers were also looking at the attacker.

However, those hoping to sign Diangana permanently look set to be disappointed. that the Hammers have no interest in selling the youngster and will not consider any bids.

West Ham’s stance arguably says a lot about Diangana’s potential. Football London claims that the club are looking to sell players to boost their transfer kitty, but Diangana is not one of those who could be sold.

TBR View: Rangers and Celtic should not give up just yet

It does appear unlikely that Diangana will be on the move this summer. And there looks to be absolutely no chance of a permanent exit.

But the various reports have noted that Diangana’s priority is to play regularly next season. So perhaps the likes of Rangers and Celtic should not give up hope just yet.

If Moyes is not planning to use Diangana regularly, he may be tempted to consider whether a loan move may be a good idea.

It may not suit West Ham next season. But in the long-term, another loan move could be beneficial once again if he is not going to be a regular starter next term.

So perhaps Rangers and Celtic should keep themselves in the hunt. A permanent move may be off the table. But perhaps that may not be the last decision made on Diangana’s future this summer.
