Report shares Tottenham’s potential plan to land Eberechi Eze
Tottenham Hotspur are now emerging as the favourites to sign Queens Park Rangers talisman Eberechi Eze, that two of their Premier League rivals have been put off by his asking price.
Eze is unquestionably one of the best players outside of the top flight. The 21-year-old has scored 12 goals and contributed eight assists for Mark Warburton’s men this season.

Those numbers are arguably all the more impressive given that every Championship team knows exactly how dangerous Eze can be, and will often task more than one player with trying to keep the attacker quiet.
Unsurprisingly, he is attracting plenty of Premier League attention.

that Sheffield United and Crystal Palace were keen before being put off by his £20 million asking price.
But Spurs reportedly remain in the race, and are now edging out in front in the battle for his signature. The Sun suggests that the club’s top scout Brian Carey watched Eze in action last weekend as QPR beat Preston North End 3-1.
The Sun on Sunday notes that Jose Mourinho’s men could look to sweeten a potential bid by offering a player in exchange.
TBR View – Move that suits all parties if QPR become resigned to losing Eze
Tottenham and QPR appear to have a good relationship. The second tier side have taken Luke Amos and Jack Clarke on loan from Spurs this season.
And the Hoops will surely know that keeping Eze will be almost impossible without promotion.
So getting a player in exchange may soften the blow. Of course, they will not be able to fill the void that the England under-21 international will leave. But it may help the club move forward.
Tottenham surely cannot afford to let Eze head elsewhere now they are reportedly in a good position.
It may be a move that suits all parties.
