Report shares Spurs’ stance as clubs enquire about Steven Bergwijn
Tottenham Hotspur’s stance on Steven Bergwijn’s future with several clubs enquiring about the forward.
Bergwijn has fallen out of favour in recent months. He has made just one appearance in the Premier League since the win over West Brom in February.

Worryingly, the Dutchman has not even been included in the match day squad by Jose Mourinho on a number of occasions since that victory.
And it now appears that that has alerted other clubs about his future.
, several clubs have registered an interest in Bergwijn – who cost Tottenham £27 million when he arrived in 2020.

However, it appears that his admirers may be set for disappointment. The Athletic notes that Daniel Levy has no intention of letting him leave permanently or on loan.
TBR View: Levy’s stance may yet change should Mourinho continue to overlook Bergwijn
Spurs would certainly do well to recoup the money they spent on Bergwijn if they looked to sell him this summer.
He has not scored for Tottenham since June last year. And with Mourinho not including him in his squads, it is obviously impossible for Bergwijn – who earns around £73,000-a-week, – to really prove himself again.
It is a good sign that Spurs are seemingly not writing him off at this stage. He is still only 23. And he has produced some moments of brilliance since arriving in North London.
But those who are annoyed by Mourinho’s use of Bergwijn will be concerned by the levels of interest.
If the Portuguese retains Levy’s full backing, the writing could be on the wall. The offers coming in for Bergwijn may perhaps start to look a lot more appealing to the Spurs chairman as the summer continues.
