Report shares Levy’s stance on Raheem Sterling as Manchester City eye players-plus-cash bid for Harry Kane
Daniel Levy is not interested in a swap deal for Harry Kane, that Spurs would not accept a Manchester City bid involving Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
Kane’s future remains a key talking point in North London. That is despite Tottenham still looking for their next manager.

As noted by The Sun, it was recently reported that Manchester City want Spurs’ talisman. In fact, it is now claimed that the striker’s representatives have been contacted by the Cityzens, as well as Chelsea.
, City are prepared to offer both Sterling and Jesus in a bid for Kane. They are also ready to pay a further £60 million.

However, they are now going to need to make a fresh proposal if they want the England captain.
According to The Sun, Levy is not interested in a swap bid. It is claimed that he is not prepared to pay Sterling’s £300,000-a-week wages.
The Sun also notes that he does not believe Sterling and Jesus would want to join Spurs after they missed out on Champions League football.
Levy must be confident of keeping Harry Kane at Spurs – as reported Manchester City bid looks reasonable on paper
Admittedly, Sterling and Jesus managed fewer goals and assists between them than Kane did this past season.
And you can understand why Levy may be wary of paying Sterling’s wages.
Having said that, it is not a bad offer by any means. The pair are two world-class players. And Spurs would also receive £60 million on top of that.
Levy reportedly values Kane at at least £150 million. So you could potentially argue that City’s bid does not add up to that figure.
But given the current climate, there are unlikely to be many teams who put a better offer on the table.
That would therefore, hint that Levy is perhaps confident that he can keep Kane.
In fairness, it is hard to imagine Kane’s professionalism deserting him if he did end up staying.
So perhaps Levy is hoping to take his chances and dig his heels in in the hope that his star player goes nowhere.
