Report shares Arsenal stance on future of Gabriel Martinelli

Arsenal have absolutely no intention of selling Gabriel Martinelli with Jurgen Klopp amongst those who are a huge fan of the forward, .

The hopes have been incredibly high for Martinelli throughout his time at the Emirates. He was unbelievable in the early stages of his spell.

He spent some time out on the sidelines due to injury. And Mikel Arteta then took his time to reintroduce Martinelli back into the fold upon his return.

But he is now a regular fixture in the side. The 20-year-old has been directly involved in eight goals in 18 Premier League appearances this season.

He has certainly won admirers. As noted by The Telegraph, Klopp has suggested that he is ‘really unbelievable’ in the past.

But Klopp’s admiration of the Brazilian is unlikely to lead to a move to Liverpool for the starlet. that Arsenal would have no interest whatsoever in letting Martinelli leave.

When Martinelli returned from injury, Arteta would have been forgiven for wanting to throw him straight back in. He is a clear fan favourite. And the Spaniard has come in for a lot of criticism during his time as boss.

However, Arteta stuck to his guns and waited to make Martinelli a key man for Arsenal. That strategy is absolutely paying off now.

There are going to be times when Martinelli does go off the boil. He does not turn 21 until the summer. He has had a serious injury in the past. And he is playing in a position where you need to take risks and really make things happen.

But he is clearly on the right path as Martinelli looks to realise his full potential at Arsenal.
