Report: Seven Barcelona players that could be included in player-plus-cash deal with Manchester City
that Barcelona have informed Manchester City that they can include any of seven players in a deal for Ferran Torres.
Torres, 21, has been excellent since joining Manchester City – even underrated by some. He has scored 16 goals in 43 games for the Champions.
A 22-time Spain international already given his age, Torres is showing quality – and consistency – way beyond what is expected of him.
The Premier League champion is being strongly linked with a move to Barcelona. MD report that Manchester City want a big price tag.
Indeed, it is believed City are requesting a fee between £60million, and £68million. Barcelona’s financial issues are widely-renowned.
But they have made attempts to reduce that fee, by informing Pep Guardiola and Manchester City that they can include any of seven players.
They are – Philippe Coutinho, Sergino Dest, Neto, Samuel Umtiti, Clement Lenglet, Sergi Roberto or Oscar Mingueza. Torres has a deal until 2025.

Torres to Barcelona: Manchester City should consider swap deal
Manchester City could do with a right-back. They do not need centre-backs, or Coutinho. Ederson and Zack Steffen are excellent goalkeeper options.
Of the seven players suggested to City then, only Dest and Roberto remain. Roberto has been linked with a move to The Etihad in the past.
With Kyle Walker turning 32 in May, and Joao Cancelo playing on the left of the defence – a new right-back is ideal and Roberto would be superb.
If City can agree a deal worth £30million and Roberto, perhaps, then it is a deal Guardiola and City must take. Time will tell.
