Julen Lopetegui worked with the Spain international during a loan spell earlier in his career. But there is a problem for Sevilla.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the asking price is up to £25.6 million. And that may be too much for his side. Therefore, a loan may be more likely at this stage.

Sergio Reguilon thinks he is going to Sevilla

It will benefit everyone if Reguilon can secure a move away in the coming weeks. He looks set to only have a peripheral role should he stay at Tottenham next season.

Clearly, a permanent move to Andalusia would be better for Spurs. They have made a number of new signings. But they will also want to potentially add a couple more before the deadline passes.

Selling Reguilon for £25.6 million would provide a big boost. Mundo Deportivo even suggests that they would consider £17 million for the Spain international.

A loan move could ultimately help Spurs receive that fee further down the line if he does well. But Tottenham will surely be reluctant to let him go on loan if there is the possibility of a permanent move elsewhere.
