Despite Schalke set to go down as one of the worst teams in Bundesliga history, Kolasinac is still considering a permanent switch.

believes the Arsenal man is only collecting £30,000-a-week during his loan, whilst the Gunners are likely to want in order to sell him.

Given that Schalke’s existence has been on the line in recent weeks, it seems highly unlikely the sums can be met.

The 35-cap international made 113 appearances for the Gunners but fell down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta.

Kieran Tierney’s arrival didn’t help and his long-term future looks to be away from Arsenal.

Given Schalke’s current plight, it seems unthinkable that they will stump up the £7 million that Arsenal will want.

The 27-year-old will have just one year left on his deal in the summer though and the Gunners might change their stance.

Kolasinac has no future at the Emirates and it would be pointless keeping him around to sit on the fringes.

If the play has a desire to head to Germany in a permanent deal and he’s willing to take a pay cut, Arsenal shouldn’t stand in his way.
