Report: Schalke ready to fight to sign Everton’s Jonjoe Kenny permanently
Schalke are ready to fight to sign Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny on a permanent deal.
, officials at the German outfit have been thoroughly impressed with the Englishman’s performances this season.

Kenny has started all 19 games for the club so far in 2019/20, and provided a goal and two assists.
Currently lying fifth in the table, Schalke are just seven points off top of the league and have strong hopes of finishing among the Champions League places.
Kenny has been highly consistent for David Wagner’s side, and Everton now face a fight to keep hold of him it would seem.
TBR’s view – Everton must fight to keep Kenny
With Seamus Coleman’s best years behind him, Everton should be looking to integrate Kenny back into the first-team in 2020/21.

The Toffees need to complete a permanent deal of their own for Djibril Sidibe, and then get Kenny back to provide the competition.
Kenny seems quite happy with Schalke though if recent interviews are anything to go by, so convincing him to stay at Goodison Park may actually be somewhat tricky.
