19th-place side have made ‘official bid’ for Palace and Leicester target, says Romano in tweet

Norwich City have reportedly made an offer for Crystal Palace and Leicester City target Ozan Kabak.

, the 19th-place Premier League side have made ‘an official bid’ to Schalke 04 for the Turkish international.

As , Palace and the Foxes have been chasing Kabak this window.

The young defender impressed whilst with Liverpool last season on loan. However, the Merseyside club passed on the option to sign Kabak, who now looks close to joining Norwich before the end of the window.

The Canaries have been busy this summer following their promotion to the Premier League. Daniel Farke’s side have made several impressive signings, but so far they remain pointless in the division after three games.

Indeed, with the window shutting in under 48 hours, Norwich face a race against time to complete a deal for Kabak. And the deal could be a blow for Palace and Leicester.

Both sides have added centre-backs to their ranks this summer, but Kabak could have been an excellent addition to both sides.

Leicester, in particular, could have done with an extra defender given their involvement in the UEFA Europa League.

However, it appears that Norwich will run out the winners for Kabak given the time left in the window. Moreover, the Turkish youngster will likely start most games for the Norfolk side given his quality.
