that Rangers and Roma have agreed a £17million deal for Ianis Hagi, just weeks after the summer transfer window came to an end.
Hagi, 22, has been regularly linked with a move away ever since completing a permanent move to Ibrox. His form for Rangers was excellent in 20-21.
The 20-time Romania international had a hand in 23 goals last term, scoring eight and laying on a huge 15 assists. This season, he is showing glimpses.
Two goals and two assists in seven games is good, but Hagi will be looking to take his game to the next level as Rangers look to return to their best.
However, Hagi might be playing in a different country by then. Reports from his home country say a deal is agreed with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
The report states that Rangers have agreed a £17million fee with Roma. Lazio were also interested, but they failed to meet his asking price.

Hagi is a top talent and is showing plenty of potential. It is hardly unimagineable to see Hagi end up being sold by Rangers in January.
But is he good enough for Roma? Would Roma really pay £17million for him – a club-record sale, more than Giovanni van Bronckhorst?
It seems unlikely. Hagi is hardly the club’s best players, some way behind Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent or James Tavernier.
At £17million, Roma can do better. The fee claimed throws the reports into doubt. Time will tell, but the reports should be taken with a pinch of salt.
