Report: Rhian Brewster expected to join Sheffield United from Liverpool
Rhian Brewster is expected to join Sheffield United from Liverpool after the Blades had an offer in the region of £23.5million accepted for the England Under-21 international.
Brewster, 20, starred on loan at Swansea last season after making his senior Liverpool debut earlier on in the season. He joined Swansea in January, and netted 11 goals in just 22 appearances for the Welsh side, as they reached the Championship play-offs.
But his future at Liverpool has been in doubt all summer. He remains third choice behind Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi, while Diogo Jota has been brought in from Wolves. Now, Liverpool have accepted a £23.5million offer for Brewster.
Liverpool will retain a 15% sell-on clause in the deal for Brewster, while Michael Edwards has also convinced Sheffield United to include a buyback clause that will remain active until 2023. A medical is to take place on Friday, and wages will not be an issue.
Crystal Palace and Aston Villa had expressed an interest of late.

TBR’s view – Time for Brewster to live up to the potential
A player enormous potential and destined to become a future England international, Brewster showed fans just why there is enormous hype around his name with some glorious strikes for Swansea last term.
But the Premier League is a different animal, and combined with the pressure of a big transfer fee – Brewster now needs to prove just why he is rated is so highly. Getting goals early on after his move will help with that.
