Report: Reading convinced they can keep Aston Villa target John Swift
Aston Villa and Sheffield United may have to brace themselves for disappointment, that Reading are convinced that they will be able to keep John Swift this summer.

It is no surprise to see Swift attract top flight attention this summer. The midfielder scored six goals and provided 10 assists for Reading last season.
It is an outstanding return. And he is a player who can also play in a variety of roles. So he is going to tick a lot of boxes for a number of clubs.
It would be a huge boost for Reading therefore, if they can hold onto Swift. But it will also be no shock if the likes of Villa and Sheffield United look to test their resolve further before switching their attention elsewhere.
