that Rangers would have to pay a similar fee to their outlay on Ryan Kent to sign Bologna star Andreas Skov Olsen. The Gers splashed £7.5million on Kent, during Steven Gerrard’s era as manager.
Skov Olsen, 22, is struggling for confidence at Bologna. Joining the Serie A side in the summer of 2019, Skov Olsen had netted 27 goals in 51 games for Nordsjaelland. But at Bologna, he has just three goals in 69 games.
He has been a player that has been admired at Rangers since his time at Nordsjaelland. While his form has been poor at Bologna, Rangers remain interested. A 15-time Denmark international, he is still a talent.
Now, the report claims that Rangers are still keen on signing Skov Olsen – but if they are to get him, it will cost a similar fee to the £7.5million figure paid for Kent. They have just sold Nathan Patterson for an initial £12million.

Rangers eye Skov Olsen: Is Dane worth £7.5million?
Rangers need additions out wide, first of all. While centre-back is likely to be a priority, there is a lack of options out wide. Gio van Bronckhorst likes to play a 4-2-3-1, with a number 10 – namely Joe Aribo.
So, that rules Aribo out as an option out wide. Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent are first choice, while Scott Wright is an option as cover. Kemar Roofe and Fashion Sakala can play there, but they are naturally strikers.
Would Rangers splash £7.5million on Skov Olsen? It seems unlikely, but he does get “fans out of their seats”. Perhaps, the Gers could be tempted to negotiate a lower fee.
