Rangers are reportedly set to land the signing of Manchester United prospect Charlie McCann.
According to the , the Scottish champions are poised to wrap up a deal to bring him to Ibrox this summer.
Gers boss Steven Gerrard reportedly likes the 19-year-old talent because he’s keen to add him to his squad before the new league season begins. He’s been monitoring him after hearing about his reputation.
The report adds Rangers will need to pay a fee for the youngster, as he’s got 12 months remaining on his deal at Old Trafford.
McCann, who’s been with Man United since 2018, is a highly rated player.
He’s predominantly a ball-playing defensive midfielder, and he forced his way into Man United’s Under-23s side during the second half of last season.

Charlie McCann a potential gem for Rangers
McCann has received plenty of praise last season for his performances at youth level, which is why he looks like he’s an exciting addition on paper.
The midfielder will have seen the route from the Rangers youth team to the first team at Ibrox and will surely fancy himself of following that process.
Gerrard’s not got too much wrong with his judgement on players, so fans should back him on this.
It’ll be interesting to see if his plans are to bring him straight into the senior group. They are strong in the centre of the park with the likes of Glen Kamara, Ryan Jack, Steven Davis and John Lundstram.
