Rangers and Celtic will need to pay around £2m to land Livingston striker, Lyndon Dykes, with the Bhoys and the Gers both said to be keen on signing him this summer.

, Livingston are looking to bring in a seven-figure sum for their star striker. Dykes has rattled in 12 goals this season, including a strike against Celtic earlier in the campaign.
Livingston will know they will be powerless to keep Dykes in the long-term. However, it seems as if they are looking to maximise their profit on the player.
Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon are both said to be fans of the Australian-born ace. Rangers are desperate for reinforcements as they try to prevent a tenth Celtic title in a row.
The Bhoys, meanwhile, could be in the market for replacements for Odsonne Edouard if he leaves.

Dykes has impressed a number of onlooking pundits and coaches this term. Indeed, former Rangers great, Ally McCoist, has previously touted the 24-year-old as one his former club should keep an eye on. ()

It’s happened so often in Scotland over the years that we are used to it now. A smaller club has a player doing well and both Rangers and Celtic dive in for him.
It’s no unexpected or surprising, so a move for Dykes won’t be either.
It will, then, come down to who puts up the money and who Dykes wants to sign for. He’ll not want to sit on the bench, so it could come down to the powers of persuasion from either Gerrard or Lennon in the end.
