Report: ‘Quality’ player is now ready to take pay-cut to join Everton this summer, but there’s a problem
Everton target Idrissa Gueye would be ready to take a pay-cut to join Frank Lampard’s side and leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Senegalese international has already been frozen out by new PSG manager Christophe Galtier, alongside Leandro Paredes and West Ham target Thilo Kehrer.
However, this latest development will be frustrating for all parties, as Everton wanted to have Gueye available for Saturday’s early kick-off against Aston Villa.
Gueye ready to take pay-cut to join Everton
as there’s belief within the club that he will be the perfect partner for new signing Amadou Onana.
However, alternatives are already being considered if a deal for Gueye can’t be done.
Red Bull Salzburg’s Mohamed Camara is another midfielder Everton are keen on, and the 22-year-old is keen to move on this summer.

Everton are still keen to strengthen in other areas.
After an injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, bringing in another forward is also on the agenda, with Southampton’s Che Adams a player they’ve reportedly made an approach for.
Everton are having to try and balance the books this summer and be more careful with their spending, and this will be one of the key reasons why they’re taking their time over the negotiations with Gueye.
With all parties keen for a deal to be done, it feels like a matter of time until Gueye is an Everton player again, but it may now take longer than first hoped.
