Report: Quadruple injury boost for Arsenal ahead of Tottenham clash

Arsenal could have four players back for Saturday’s North London derby against Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners were left sweating over the fitness of numerous players over the international break.

The likes of Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu were doubts to face Spurs.

But according to , one of the quartet is set to be available, and Arsenal are hopeful over the other three.

Tierney suffered a head knock against the Republic of Ireland and was taken off.

Football.london have claimed that ‘Tierney is set to be available for Saturday lunchtime’s clash with Spurs.

‘The Scot was brought home early as a precautionary measure after suffering a concussion in the match with Ireland, but should recover in time for the derby.’

‘All three could be involved for Tottenham’

Meanwhile, Partey, Zinchenko and Tomiyasu are all back in north London and being assessed ahead of the weekend.

As per Kaya Kaynak, ‘the Gunners will continue to monitor them over the coming days and football.london understands that they remain hopeful that all three could be involved for Tottenham.’

Partey was set to start for Ghana against Brazil but was withdrawn ahead of kickoff due to a knee injury.

The Arsenal midfielder left his nation’s camp early, as did Tomiyasu, despite playing the full 90 in Japan’s 2-0 friendly win over the USA.

As for Zinchenko, he didn’t link up with Ukraine after sustaining a calf problem ahead of the win over Brentford.

In addition, ‘there is considerable hope’ that Martin Odegaard should be fit to feature against Tottenham.

The Arsenal captain missed the win over Brentford due to a calf problem. However, he played in both of Norway’s Nations League matches over the break.
