Report: PSV Eindhoven tell Spurs Noni Madueke will cost £40m
PSV Eindhoven have told Spurs that Noni Madueke will cost at least £40 million with several sides making contact about a potential move, .
Madueke has made a superb start to the campaign. The 19-year-old has scored two goals in his first two appearances in the Eredivisie this term.
It comes after a campaign in which he scored seven in 24 appearances in the top flight. He started just seven times in the season.
Unsurprisingly, he is attracting a lot of attention. that Spurs, Leicester and Wolves are amongst 10 clubs to have made contact over a potential deal.
And it is claimed that Tottenham have been told that Madueke will cost at least £40 million.
Of course, that may be a bitter pill to swallow for some with the youngster previously leaving Spurs for The Netherlands.
But he looks to be a remarkable talent. And Spurs surely need to bolster their attacking ranks before the window shuts – whether Harry Kane stays or not.
Madueke can play up front. But he is predominantly used as a wide-man on the right by PSV.

Of course, there is an element of risk attached for any side willing to go near PSV’s demands.
Madueke is yet to reach 50 appearances in all competitions for the Dutch side. And Tottenham know all too well about disappointing attacking signings who have previously shone in the Eredivisie.
But it says a lot that so many sides have registered an interest. And Spurs should know better than most whether he has the potential to be a success in the Premier League.
