Report: PSG and Everton directors already set to meet over Moise Kean transfer

Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are already set to meet over a transfer for Moise Kean, according to reports. The player has made up his mind.

Everton and Paris Saint-Germain are already set to discuss a transfer for Moise Kean. The Italian is currently on loan at the latter from the former but, importantly, without a purchase option.

Thus PSG can’t automatically sign Kean and must negotiate a fee with Everton. Directors Leonardo and Marcel Brands will do so at the end of the season, says the report, as the player already wants to stay.

Kean apparently has no intention of returning to Everton. He wants to remain in Paris after a fantastic start with the side. Whether he stays there, though, will entirely depend on Everton’s demands.

TBR View:

This could end up being hugely lucrative for Everton. Kean is still only 20 but scoring goals consistently for an elite European side, in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Each goal drives his price up even further, in truth, and there’s really no cap on what it can be. We’ve written before on how lucrative this could become for Everton – and that was before we knew of plans to sit down and negotiate.

It sounds like PSG are suitably impressed to make this one happen, then.

That will likely be exactly what Everton hoped for when they sent Kean there. This is the best-case scenario, really, and one that could help fuel a very exciting summer at the end of the campaign.
