Report: Pochettino could beat Tottenham to 28-year-old’s signature, by sanctioning swap
soon-to-be announced Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino could form a reunion with Inter Milan playmaker Christia💟n Eriksen by sanctioning a swap deal – and pipping Tottenham༒ to his signature.
Pochettino is expected to be announced as PSG’s new boss imminently, following the sacking of German gaffer Thomas Tuchel – who has remained in the hotseat at PSG since early 2018. Pochettino played f𒉰or PSG during his playing career.
Now, reports are already turning to his January tran꧟sfer targets and 28-year-old Eriksen could be among the🉐m – with the Dane struggling at the San Siro under Antonio Conte. Tottenham and Arsenal are interested.
The report from Eurosport states that wh𒉰ile Spurs are keen, Pochettino could win the race for Eriksen. He intends to san🤡ction a move for the ex-Ajax man by offering Inter Milan a swap deal – sending Argentine Leandro Paredes the other way.

TBR’s view – PSG need a player like Eriksen, Tottenham certainly do not
Spurs boast Tanguy Ndombele, Gio Lo Celso and then Dele Alli all vying for the same spot in Jose Mourinho’s side. There is only space for one, hence the rotation between Lo Celso and Ndomb𓆉ele and the lack of game time for Dele.
So, Spurs do not need to bring Eriksen back to North London. PSG, however, need a 10 – hence their links to Eriksen and indeed, Dele. Pochettino should be allowedℱ to win the Eriksen race, rather tha𝓡n Tottenham trying to beat Pochettino to the punch.
This꧟ is, of course, if Pochettino does indeed become the new manager of PSG.
