Report: PL club now willing to match Tottenham’s asking price for 24-year-old, have offered him personal terms
Frank Lampard’s Everton want to sign Dutch international forward Steven Bergwijn from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Dutch outlet claim that the Toffees are willing to match Spurs’ asking price to sign the 24-year-old.
There is also interest from Ajax, but they have not been able to find an agreement with Tottenham so far this summer.
Bergwijn would rather go to Ajax for Champions League football and increased gametime ahead of the winter World Cup.

Everton want to sign Bergwijn
But the report says the player’s patience will not last forever and the Dutch champions have yet to reach an agreement with Tottenham.
Everton’s decisiveness may put Bergwijn, who is currently on holiday, in a quandary over where to make his next move to.
Dele Alli made the switch from north London to Merseyside during the January window and that has not worked out so far.

The reported that Everton do not want to take Bergwijn as part of a swap deal which could take Richarlison to Tottenham.
Spurs have offered £20 million and Bergwijn to the Toffees, which has been rejected, but it seems that is not due to a lack of interest in the Dutchman.
Everton have offered Bergwijn personal terms, which are far better than they would be at Ajax, which could also influence his decision.
