Report: ‘Phenomenal’ player still wants to stay at Tottenham despite Antonio Conte putting him up for sale
Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal want to stay at Tottenham despite Antonio Conte putting them up for sale.
report that Spurs will listen to offers for both defenders, but neither of them is that keen to leave.
Royal has held talks with Atletico Madrid, according to his father, after just one season at Tottenham after being bought by Nuno Espirito Santo.
Reguilon was bought by Jose Mourinho and it has been reported that Tottenham have offered him to a host of clubs to try and find a buyer.

Reguilon and Royal want Tottenham stay
The pair have both had their moments.
Reguilon was described as ‘phenomenal‘ early on at Spurs, when it looked like Mourinho had found a gem capable of attacking at well and defending diligently.
An early Royal performance was deemed ‘amazing‘ by Graham Roberts but he has just not been consistent enough for Conte.
Spurs have already signed Ivan Perisic and it is expected that Djed Spence will be next.

That means that Conte wants to go into next season with upgrades in both wing-back positions, and that the pair who want to stay would be understudies at best.
Royal and Reguilon came in from Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, the two biggest clubs in Spain, but seem content at Tottenham.
It remains to be seen whether they will get their wish to stay in north London or whether they will be moved on as Conte continues his squad overhaul in his first summer in charge.
