Paulo Fonseca is on the radar of Tottenham once more,
The club could make a decision on Nuno Espirito Santo following a 3-0 loss to Manchester United yesterday.
Spurs have won five and lost five of their first 10 matches of the season. They have, however, lost five of their last seven.
Fonseca looked set for the job during the summer. He was offered the role before a late change of heart from Fabio Paratici.

Now, he is back under consideration, with Tottenham considering wielding the axe on Espirito Santo.
His arrival at Tottenham was met with some displeasure. He was hardly the primary choice and seemed a desperate appointment.
Espirito Santo has gone with a pragmatic approach. He is stifling the club’s attacking talent and scoring goals has proved a problem.
The style of play is boring supporters to tears and sacking Espirito Santo now could be the best thing to do.
Tottenham were once again toothless against United. They failed to register a single shot on target and that simply won’t do on home soil.
Fonseca has been out of work since leaving Roma in June. He left having won 53 of his 102 games in charge and a win ratio of 51%.
Exciting: Fonseca would be a hit with Tottenham fans
One thing Tottenham won’t be under Fonseca is defensive. The 48-year-old loves an expansive, attacking approach and that could delight the fan base.

Fonseca would surely be welcome the chance to return to football and would perhaps relish a crack at the Premier League.
The likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min could thrive in an attack-minded system and they’d surely welcome a change at this stage.
With Newcastle also on the hunt for a new manager, Tottenham might need to move quickly to appoint the former Serie A incumbent.
