Report: Palace in talks to sign Celtic and Newcastle-linked free agent
that Patrick Vieira is in talks to sign free agent Andre Ayew at Crystal Palace. The elder brother of Jordan Ayew, Andre is without a club after his contract at Swansea expired this summer. Ayew has been linked with Celtic and Newcastle, but Palace are stealing a march.

But for Ayew, a move to join his brother at a London club is pretty much perfect. If Celtic or Newcastle were going to convince Ayew, they have probably waited too long. The lure of Patrick Vieira will also surely convince Ayew, even if Celtic are in the Champions League.
