Report: ‘Outstanding’ Spurs player’s agent tells suitor he’s available for summer move

Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier has been linked with a summer switch from Spurs in recent days.

has now reported that the 28-year-old’s agent has told Milan that Tottenham are willing to let him leave in the summer.

Aurier was linked with the Serie A side last summer in wake of Matt Doherty’s arrival, but he ended up staying put and kept his starting XI berth.

However, Spurs are reportedly looking to move the right-back on this summer, with reporting that he has a £8.5million release clause.

Paris Saint-Germain, who Aurier used to play for and who have former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at the helm, are said to be interested in bringing him back.

Aurier moved to Tottenham in 2017 from PSG in a deal worth around and his contract, worth a , runs until the summer of 2022.

To date, the Ivory Coast international has made 109 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, including 26 so far this season.

Aurier is certainly capable of superb performances, but he’s struggled to do it consistently and he remains prone to the occasional error.

Last time out, he provided two assists for Gareth Bale en route to a 4-0 win over Sheffield United, a performance which Ryan Mason as “outstanding”.

However, he did also give away a needless free kick in the League Cup final from which Manchester City scored.
