on their deadline-day blog (12.44PM) that Olivier Ntcham has finally found a new club after leaving Celtic – in Swansea City.
Ntcham, 25, is a free agent after his four-year stint on the books at Celtic came to an end in the summer. He was released by the Hoops on August 1.
Since then, Ntcham has struggled to find a new club. That is, despite 37 goal involvements during his 147 games for Celtic, winning three league titles.
But now, Ntcham has finally found himself a new club and is set to agree a deal on deadline day – though, as a free agent, the deadline is not an issue.
Having spent a tricky second half of last season on loan at Marseille, Ntcham’s next stop will be Wales – with Championship club Swansea.
Back in April 2018, Ntcham was part of a Celtic side that beat Rangers 5-0 at Parkhead – a Rangers side that included now-Swansea gaffer Russell Martin.

Ntcham to Swansea: Fall from grace for player who starred at Celtic
Ntcham is a top midfielder. Brendan Rodgers spent £4.5million to take him to Celtic in 2017 from Manchester City – after a two-year loan at Genoa.
He was excellent at Celtic. While he did not start all the matches, he scored plenty of crucial goals. Including a winner at Lazio in the Stadio Olimpico.
During his time at Celtic, Ntcham was linked with Porto on a permanent basis. A club that reached the last eight of the Champions League last term.
Now, he joins a Swansea side that have reached the play-offs in the last two seasons. A coup for Swansea, but a fall from grace for Ntcham.
