Nottingham Forest want Serge Aurier

Forest have come under for a lot of scrutiny this summer. Many pundits are wondering just how all of their new signings are going to gel.

They are off to a very promising start with a win against West Ham, and a draw with Everton. And they also had to replace so many players over the summer.

They have done some shrewd business this summer. And signing Aurier would potentially be a low-risk move from Forest.

He had an interesting time at Tottenham. On his day, he was ‘‘. And, in truth, there were probably times early on last season when it seemed like Spurs could probably do with him in the ranks.

But he also made a number of costly mistakes. And it always seemed difficult for Spurs to rely on him.

It will be very interesting to see if he is now offered the chance to return to the Premier League.
