Report: Nottingham Forest have made bid for ‘incredible’ player Arsenal reportedly led race for
Nottingham Forest have reportedly made a move for Houssem Aouar, a player routinely linked with Arsenal.
The Gunners have apparently been eyeing the Lyon ace for years, and speculation resurfaced back in May.
According to , Arsenal were leading the race for Aouar, whose club is apparently open to selling.

But now, it looks as though Forest have got the ball rolling in pursuit of the 24-year-old midfielder.
– via – claim Forest have made their first bid for Aouar in the past few hours.
They say that, while the Reds are not the ‘most expected destination’ for the French international, they are now the ‘most concrete possibility’.
Forest have reportedly been in contact with Aouar’s agents for several days and made their ‘initial offer’ in the last few hours.
The nature of that offer hasn’t been made clear, but L’Equipe say it is ‘too far’ from Lyon’s expectations for them to accept at this stage.
Aouar is apparently open to the idea of moving to the Premier League and discussions with Forest will continue in the coming days.
Both Forest and Arsenal have been busy in the summer transfer window.
Steve Cooper’s charges have made 12 signings so far, while Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have brought five new players in.
Forest could certainly do with bolstering their midfield further, while Arsenal apparently want one more midfielder in.
Aouar is a top talent who Pep Guardiola previously called ““, but whose future at Lyon is uncertain.
He has yet to sign a new deal at his boyhood club and will be a free agent next summer.
There’s a good chance Aouar moves this season – will Arsenal finally get him or will Forest land another marquee signing?
