Report: Nottingham Forest confident of winning race for ‘incredible’ Premier League player
Nottingham Forest are confident of winning the race for Liverpool full-back Neco Williams, according to .
The Reds have been busy in the summer transfer window following their promotion to the Premier League.
Forest have bought striker Taiwo Awoniyi and defender Giulian Biancone, while goalkeeper Dean Henderson has joined on loan.
In addition, the City Ground outfit is closing in on the signing of Mainz centre-back Moussa Niakhate, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano added that Forest are “now busy” regarding a new full-back.
And according to 90Min, the Reds apparently fancy their chances of bringing Williams to the City Ground.
The outlet also claims Forest had been considering a move for Manchester City’s Issa Kabore.
However, they eventually settled on Williams as their priority target, added the report.

Can Forest land “absolutely outstanding” full-back?
As well as Forest, the likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brentford are reportedly eyeing the Liverpool gem.
And the Reds are apparently open to letting Williams leave this summer if their £15million valuation is met.
With Calvin Ramsay joining Liverpool this summer, the 21-year-old has slipped further down the Anfield pecking order.
He’s a great shout for Forest, an incredibly talented young player with plenty of experience behind him.
Williams spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, helping them to promotion.
He has Liverpool appearances, 15 Cottagers outings and 21 Wales caps under his belt.
Williams has been described by James Milner as “incredible“.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Danny Gabbidon once deemed him “absolutely outstanding”.
