Report: Nottingham Forest about to complete £44.5m signing, medical this afternoon
Nottingham Forest are reportedly on the brink of signing Morgan Gibbs-White from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On Thursday afternoon, multiple sources including reported on the Reds’ pursuit of the 22-year-old.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein has reported that Forest are set to pay £44.5million including add-ons for Gibbs-White.

He will also undergo a medical with the Premier League newcomers this afternoon, added Ornstein.
Gibbs-White will become Forest’s 16th signing of the summer in wake of the club’s return to the top flight.
Wolves reportedly rejected Forest’s offer of £35million – £25million plus £10million in add-ons – earlier this month.
Gibbs-White worked under Forest manager Steve Cooper at England youth level and during a loan spell at Swansea City.
Everton reportedly wanted the midfielder too.
However, the chance to link up with Cooper once again has proven a major factor in his decision to move to the City Ground.
Gibbs-White has played the full 90 minutes in Wolves’ opening two Premier League games, against Leeds United and Fulham.
The Englishman spent last season on loan at Sheffield United.
He registered 12 goals and 10 assists as the Blades reached the play-offs in the Championship before losing to Forest.
