Report: Norwich monitoring Arsenal defender William Saliba
Norwich City are one of the clubs interested in signing Arsenal defender William Saliba on loan, .
Gunners fans are yet to see Saliba represent the club in a competitive game. He, of course, spent last season on loan at St Etienne. And he has not yet been handed his debut by Mikel Arteta.

Perhaps surprisingly therefore – given how bright he looked in pre-season – Arsenal decided to loan him out. And those plans have seemingly not been derailed despite Monday’s initial deadline passing.
, the Gunners could loan Saliba out to a Championship side.

And the report suggests that the Canaries are one of the teams monitoring the situation.
Daniel Farke’s men lost another key man on Monday. Ben Godfrey joined Everton in a deal worth £25 million, .
Norwich did appear to have the depth to cope without Godfrey. They signed Ben Gibson on loan earlier in the window.
However, the opportunity to potentially sign Saliba is surely too good for any second tier side to turn down.
He was a player that Arsenal fans seemed to have incredibly high hopes for heading into this season. So it would be a massive coup for any Championship side to bring him in.
