Report: Nine Premier League clubs want Emmanuel Dennis, including Arsenal and Everton
that nine Premier League clubs and many more European outfits are interested in signing Club Brugge attacker Emmanuel Dennis this summer, including Arsenal, Everton and Newcastle United.
Dennis, 22, has jumped onto the shortlists of plenty of European clubs ahead of the summer window after scoring nine goals in 33 games for Brugge this season. Not the best goal ratio, but Dennis has completed 90 minutes just eight times this term.
He has also been used out wide more than he has as a number nine. The Nigeria international’s pace, power and trickery – as well as his eye for goal – has attracted suitors, as has his excellent Champions League brace against Real Madrid in October.
The report claims Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle, Manchester United, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Watford, Leicester and Brighton all want to lure him to the Premier League. But other European sides are also keen.
Real Betis, AS Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach and Sampdoria are also keen. Dennis could cost as much as £26million – and has a contract until the summer of 2022.

TBR’s view – Is Dennis good enough for the Premier League?
Aston Villa used Belgium as a pool of talent last summer and Wesley was brought to Villa Park for a similar fee to Dennis’ £26million asking price. Wesley has since impressed in glimpses, but it must be said for a side that are in the drop zone.
Dennis, though, is very much a different player to Wesley. Used more as a winger but versatile enough to play anywhere in the front three, his pace and raw talent surely makes him good enough for the Premier League.
Two goals against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu is proof he can do it against anyone. A move to England looks likely, and he will surely be a success.
