Report: Newcastle’s Dan Barlaser wanted by five clubs, including Championship sides
Dan Barlaser is attracting the attention of five different sides, including four in the Championship, that the midfielder is yet to hold talks with Steve Bruce about his Newcastle United future.
The 22-year-old is yet to make his Premier League debut for the Magpies. But he has appeared on a handful of occasions for the first-team in cup competitions.
The former England under-18 international is halfway through a loan spell with Rotherham United in League One. He has played a crucial role in helping Paul Warne’s men go to the top of the table.

It was always going to be difficult for the youngster to catch the eye while playing in League One. But he is perhaps doing as much as he can to impress those on Tyneside.
Rotherham are in a fantastic position. And the Mail reports that Warne has recently stated that his team would not be the same without Barlaser in it.
Newcastle look to be fairly strong in midfield right now. But perhaps, they should be open to offering the youngster another contract before the summer.
He may be able to raise his game if given the chance. Few could have imagined how well Sean and Matty Longstaff would take to life in the Premier League before their respective debuts.
It is perhaps a gamble to offer him fresh terms. But there is a lot more scope for a much bigger mistake should they allow him to leave and perhaps become a success elsewhere.
