Report: Newcastle want Dean Henderson and have increased their interest
Newcastle want Dean Henderson, that the Magpies have now increased their interest in the Manchester United goalkeeper ahead of the summer.
Eddie Howe can now fully focus on the upcoming window after successfully keeping the club in the Premier League. And it seems that one of the positions he wants to strengthen in is in goal.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Howe wants to secure an upgrade on Martin Dubravka. And the player he sees ideally filling the void is Henderson.
Of course, Newcastle have been linked with Henderson for a little while. Previous reports claimed that Manchester United will sell the England international for £40 million this summer.

It would appear that that asking price has not put the Magpies off. that Newcastle have now increased their interest in Henderson.
Newcastle want Dean Henderson and have increased interest
You would imagine that Henderson would be very open to the idea of moving to Tyneside. He has endured a hugely frustrating season, not making a single appearance in the Premier League.
Of course, the upcoming arrival of Erik ten Hag may tempt Henderson to stick around and see if his position in the pecking order changes under the new manager.
But it would be a risk. He is now 25 years of age. And he will be wary of spending another year warming the bench.
It could be an exciting time for players to move to Newcastle. They have shown a glimpse of their potential in the last few months. And they will have some lofty ambitions.
Henderson was previously labelled an ‘‘ goalkeeper by Jose Mourinho. And he will want to prove it at the highest level next season.
Newcastle look ready to offer him that chance.
