believe that as well as Newcastle, West Ham and AC Milan are also interested in signing Keita.

He could also make a return to Germany with Borussia Dortmund.

Keita has managed just five minutes of football this season, coming on as a late substitute in the Community Shield.

A hamstring injury has ruled him out for the entirety of the campaign, although he has now returned to training.

Frustratingly for Jurgen Klopp, even though he’s now close to being fit again, .

However, if Newcastle do sign Keita next summer, with the current form they’re on, he could just get another crack at it.

Newcastle interested in signing Keita

Eddie Howe will already have his eye on working out how he can improve his squad further next season.

The Magpies are surpassing all expectations so far this season, and could find themselves back in Europe next year.

Keita’s injury struggles might be a red flag for Newcastle, and he’s now got six months to prove he can stay match fit.

There’s no guarantee the ‘incredible’ midfielder will even be able to break into Newcastle’s team.

Bruno Guimaraes has been one of the best players in the league this season, with Paul Merson saying he’s been ‘outstanding’.

If Newcastle’s interest in signing Keita is concrete, their finances should allow them to trump any offer from another team.

Keita certainly has quality, might be too big of an issue.
