Report: Newcastle United must pay £53 million for Odysseas Vlachodimos
Newcastle United are reportedly looking into a deal for Greek international goalkeeper Odysseas Vlaꦍchodimos. That is according to a who claimඣ that the Benfica stoppe⭕r is on the club’s radar at a price of £17.6 million.
It would appear that the club’s new-founded financial clout has them looking for a new stopper, despite the current reliability of nu🌸mber one Martin Dubravka.
But despite the🧔 report’s claim, N๊ewcastle might have to do a little better than the apparent fee on offer.

is making it clear that 🦄the Portuguese side is not currently in a financial position where they need to consider selling players.
With t🌊hat in mind, Vlachodimos is unlikely to be available at anything less than his current release clause. That woul💦d mean Newcastle having to pay a fee in the region of €60 million (£53m) for the German-born stopper.
Now whilst Vlachodimos is a very talented goalkeeper, Newcastle are not currentꦺly in desperate need of improving on their current options between the sticks. Therefore, spending £53 million on the Greek star seems an unlikely proposition, despite the apparent new wealth coming to St James’ Park.
Vlachodimos already appears like a lost cause.
