TBR’s view
Forest currently sit in second place in the Championship while Newcastle could be dragged into a relegation battle. There is a realistic chance of the two sides swapping places for the 2020/21 season.
This has to be a serious consideration for the former England U21 defender before deciding on his future. He is settled at Forest and a first-team regular – does he gamble that for a Premier League chance?
