Report: Newcastle interested in AC Milan star Franck Kessie, Arsenal recently linked
that Newcastle United are one of five Premier League clubs interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie – while Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and Wolves are also keen.
Kessie, 23, has been in stunning form for Milan once again this season. The 39-time Ivory Coast international has missed just three of Milan’s 26 Serie A appearances this term, as he continues to be strongly linked with the Premier League.
Known for his lung-busting stamina, tough-tackling nature but also his ability to get forward and both score and create. Since joining Milan from Atalanta, Kessie has clocked up 121 appearances for Milan – scoring 13 and creating nine.
Slightly more defensive this season, Kessie continues to be a name touted over a Premier League move. Newcastle are the latest to be suggested as interested, with a price tag set at £26.4million. Spurs, West Ham, Wolves and Arsenal are also interested.
Last week, that Arsenal had made an enquiry to sign Kessie, and were told to swap Lucas Torreira.

TBR’s view – Kessie is a top signing for any Premier League club
His pace in the middle of the park, combined with his ability to create something out of nothing and his drive from deep is something that many midfielders lack. He is perfectly developed to become a Premier League midfielder.
Available for a bargain figure, perhaps due to the global health crisis, Kessie would enormously improve Newcastle despite the Toon boasting plenty of options in midfield. Indeed, he would improve most Premier League sides.
