Report: Newcastle have now asked PL rival about ‘unbelievable’ defender
🌳Newcastle United have now made contact with Liverpool over a potential move for Nat Phillips, that the Magpies want to take the centre-back on loan that includes an obligation to buy.
♛The Magpies are likely to be the Premier League side everyone keeps an eye on in the final week of the January transfer window.

❀A new centre-back will surely come in. They have been heavily linked with Diego Carlos. But they need to pay £40 million to sign the 28-year-old.
🥂Understandably, they are considering other options. that Newcastle have asked Liverpool about Phillips. The Reds are open to selling the 24-year-old for at least £10 million.

⛦Newcastle however, would prefer to take Phillips on an initial loan. The Mail claims that they are prepared to agree to an obligation to buy should they remain in the Premier League.
🍰It is noted that Liverpool have already rejected a £7 million bid from Watford. So Newcastle may perhaps struggle to agree a compromise. The likes of PSV Eindhoven and have also been linked.
Phillips should push for Newcastle loan after struggling for chances at Liverpool
🤡As things stand, Phillips looks set to see out the season at Liverpool. And he may well go through the entire campaign without making a single appearance in the Premier League.
It is a surprise that he has featured so little. He was outstanding towards the end of last season. And he was ridiculously good♏ in Liverpool’s Champions League win over AC Milan this term.
♉Jurgen Klopp claimed that the improvement he has seen in Phillips is second only to Robert Lewandowski. He also labelled the centre-back an ‘‘ player with his feet.
✃Liverpool have a lot of depth at centre-back. So leaving on loan would make a lot of sense for Phillips. And he would arguably be an ideal signing for Newcastle as they desperately look to strengthen in that position.
