that Celtic are lining up deals for four current players this summer with Neil Lennon keen for talks to start over improved terms for Ryan Christie – after a stellar 2019-20 campaign.
Christie, 25, has been in stunning form for Lennon’s side and was a major driving force in taking Celtic to their ninth consecutive title. The 11-time Scotland international scored 19 goals and created 16 more in 43 games from midfield.
He has a contract until the summer of 2022 and Lennon wants to extend that before any interest comes from down south, which is inevitable. However, a deal for Christie is just one of four new deals Lennon wants this summer.
Indeed, Lennon wants to see Odsonne Edouard sign new-and-improved terms, while continues to state that he wants Southampton duo Mo Elyounoussi and Fraser Forster re-signed for the 2020-21 campaign at least.

TBR’s view – Christie will end up in England
Celtic know that. But keeping the goalscoring midfielder at Parkhead for as long as possible before that inevitable move is crucial – especially ahead of a potential 10 in a row and for one or two years beyond that.
There have been no rumours linking Premier League sides with Christie but as the past tells us, the likes of Southampton have come in for Stuart Armstrong and the same could happen with Christie.
Keeping him until 2022 and then cashing in would be good business for Celtic.
