Report: Middlesbrough eye January move for £25m Everton player

Yannick Bolasie could be offered the chance to leave Everton in the January transfer window, that Middlesbrough want the winger.

As things stand, it looks difficult to see Bolasie playing for the Toffees again. His last appearance for the club came in May 2018. And he was left out of Carlo Ancelotti’s Premier League squad this season.

It would be no surprise to see Bolasie on the move when January arrives. , the £25 million wide-man is on Middlesbrough’s radar.

It is noted that Neil Warnock – who worked with Bolasie at Crystal Palace – almost signed the 31-year-old during the previous window.

And with Boro now in promotion contention, it appears that he is ready to make a fresh move. They could go to within two points of the top six with a win on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, life on Merseyside has not worked out for Bolasie. The winger endured a terrible run of luck with injuries. And it is probably fair to say that he has not quite managed to recapture his previous form while out on loan at various clubs.

that Bolasie earns £75,000-a-week at Goodison Park. So it would arguably be a boost for Ancelotti if they can get Boro to take on a portion of his wages when the window opens.
